 At Maidstone Home Healthcare, our journey began with a deeply personal experience that illuminated the urgent need for compassionate, flexible, and individualized care in the home healthcare landscape. Founded by Alyssa English, a dedicated nurse and caregiver, our agency was born from the challenges she faced while caring for her own family. After navigating the complexities of the healthcare system, supporting her ailing father, and managing the needs of her mother and three young children, Alyssa recognized a significant gap in the support available to families like hers.

Frustrated by the lack of accessible and tailored care options, she set out to create a solution. Her vision was clear: to establish a home healthcare agency that prioritizes the unique needs and budgets of each client, while providing a sense of community and support. From the beginning, our mission has been to offer bespoke care plans that empower individuals and families to thrive in their own homes.

What started as a small group of dedicated friends and former colleagues—comprising early childhood educators, personal support workers, and nurses—has blossomed into a compassionate team committed to delivering comprehensive care. We cover a wide range of services, from personal care and meal preparation to navigating the public healthcare system and providing essential household support. 

Our approach is built on the foundation of collaboration and trust. We believe that every client deserves a tailored care plan that works for them. That’s why we take the time to understand each individual’s unique circumstances, introducing clients to a primary caregiver and a designated backup to ensure continuity of care. This structure not only fosters familiarity and comfort but also alleviates the stress of last-minute scheduling changes.
